Biscotti Bliss
One of the perks I enjoy most about being a wedding planner in Cincinnati is the opportunity to sample the best cakes, cupcakes, chocolates and other treats in the city. I recently received an invitation from a local company who makes biscotti. She asked if she could send me some samples of her work. I was immediately intrigued by her offer because as I previously mentioned, I love fine baked goods. My interest was also peaked because I wondered if it would be any different from the biscotti I had tried in the past. The biscotti arrived in a lovely box. Each piece was individually wrapped, labeled and tied with a bow. While the presentation was impressive, I was even more excited to try all four flavors:
- Cranberry Pecan with Lemon glaze
- Chocolate Chocolate Chip
- Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip
- Orange and Cream
I am happy to report it was the best biscotti I have ever tasted! Every bite was flavorful and moist – not dry as a cracker like some biscotti. As an added bonus, the above flavors are made without butter or oil so even calorie counters can afford to indulge. If you are considering a dessert station or Viennese table at your upcoming wedding, you should give Healthy Obsession a call.
